With all the cloud of doubts hanging over Kaththi, The makers of the film held a press meet in Taj earlier today. Subaskaran Allirajah representing Lyca clarified all issues regarding the movie release
Here are the highlights from the press meet
- They assured Kaththi will indeed be a Diwali release.
- Subaskaran Allirajah said Vijay has the biggest fan base in Tamil Nadu after Superstar Rajinikanth.
- We have absolutely no plans to sell Kaththi to any Production house
- Two days of my income is Kaththi's total budget, I don't need anyone's financialsupport !
- Subaskaran Allirajah added that Lyca will produce Hindi and Telugu films and come film which will be commercially viable.
- They also revealed that Gnanam was renamed as Lyca because Lycamobile is a bigger brand.
