Comedian Soori might be doing supporting roles and characters with a comical twist in his films. But in real life, he has become a hero. Soori was at the shooting spot for shooting for the Kannan's film 'Oru-Oorla-Rendu-Raja'.
During the shooting of the film 'Oru-Oorla-Rendu-Raja', and while taking a Scene for the film, Comedian Soori, has saved the actor Thambi Ramaiah's life by acting on sheer impulse and stopping the car in which they were travelling, which has saved the car from plunging into a lake nearby.
Soori saves Thambi Ramaiah’s life:According to the source from the set at the shooting spot, "Vemal, Priya Anand, Soori and Thambi Ramaiah were shooting for a Car-chase Scene in 'Naidupet' in Andhra Pradesh.
The scene required Vemal to drive the car at maximum speed for a certain distance and stop it near a lake, after which Vemal, Soori and Priya were to get out of the vehicle and start running. The shoot was progressing as per plan.
But things took an ugly turn when the car, which still had Thambi Ramaiah in it, started moving on its own. Luckily for him, Priya noticed this and alerted the crew. Alarmed, Soori ran towards the car, jumped in and applied the brakes in the nick of time.
If he hadn't, Thambi Ramaiah would have fallen inside the river along with the car. Confirming this incident, the director says, "Thambi Ramaiah was in no position to move as he was bound by the seat belt. The car was parked near a slope, and the sand was slippery. Soori's presence of mind only saved the day for Thambi Ramaiah."
